21. Deadshot Heroes
Deadshot Heroes is a fully-featured first-person shooter MOBA style game, including both solo play and multiplayer.
The game initially came out on Steam, but there’s now a free port available on the quest through side quests. This port is the same as the full game on Steam, and I found the depth of gameplay impressive
The goal is to take down all of the opposing team’s towers while defending your towers against their advances.
In the pregame Lobby, you choose the class of your bots as well as the bots of your allies and opponents.
If you’re playing multiplayer that each player decides for themselves besides the bots of yourself and your allies, smaller minion bots are automatically spawned from the towers.
So in the heat of combat, there’s a lot of bots to keep track of. The game provides a variety of locomotion options, which is great because you’ll need to be moving a lot.
The game combat gets intense, and the strategy becomes surprisingly deep. Don’t let the simple graphics fool you if you’re craving arena strategy combat then this is a must-play

20. Dog Corp VR
Dog Corp is a special unique game where you need some space because it’s a room-scale title, and it is explicitly created for the quest; It’s wireless freedom the game is advertised as real-world locomotion.
It’s true you literally have to walk around the space like in real life.
In dog Corp VR you’ve been separated from your dog, and you want him back, so you have to make your way through a series of rooms blasting away enemies with guns like a dog avenging Robocop.
The USP of this game is its one-to-one scale of your movement. It will create the map based on the size of your play space, and then each of the levels is created based on that mapping. The art side of this game is also chosen very well.
There is a ton of levels for you to enjoy, and I always kept thinking about what’s going to be around the next corner. I can’t give up, saving my dog.
Dog Corp VR on sidequest is an oddly entertaining game, and I enjoy it more than I thought, and I think you will too.
19. Cubism VR
Cubism is a beautiful and simple yet challenging VR puzzle game with a minimal aesthetic where you have to assemble increasingly complex shapes out of smaller puzzle pieces.
You need to arrange all the 3d shapes to fill up every block of a play area presented to you. It starts off really easy but gets challenging quickly.
Cubism is being developed by a single developer Thomas van Buell, and It’s a delightful Free VR puzzle game, and I highly recommend it.

18. Path Craft VR
In path craft, a charming little robot needs to collect all the treasure chests, but it’s not the smartest robot around.
So you need to move blocks around to ensure the robots safely make it through the course sort of like a single lemming game except that you don’t interact with the robot.
There are 30 levels total progressing with increased level complexity, and there’s even a level editor
17. Terminatord quest
Terminated quest has you living inside the Terminator movie. Between the war of man and machine rages on, you wander around in an open environment destroy as many terminators as you can.
When you run out of ammo, eject the magazine and then refill by pressing the gun against the magazine, which is always floating in front of you.
On your left hand, you can see your score and health meter. Though I will say that the developers nailed the sound design and the recreated soundtrack is spot-on and instantly teleported me into the movie.
The atmosphere of Terminated Quest is perfect, and it makes me wish for a full-length and legit VR game like this, and maybe one day, we’ll have that.
16. N.a.N Industry VR
N.a.N Industry VR is a massive puzzle game that really impressed me. And many VR enthusiasts say that “N.a.N Industry is an Absolute Gem Of A Puzzle Game On SideQuest,” and I absolutely agree with them.
The goal is to get various collections of blue cubes from the starting point to the target, and you do that by building a factory assembly line to transport the blue cubes to where they need to go.
At first, you’ll be dealing with just conveyor belts, but eventually, you’ll be using many many kinds of tools, including even carving out unique shapes within groups of blue cubes to be accepted.
It’s a little confusing at first, but you will get the hang of it. I really enjoyed the overall feel and design of this puzzle game, and there is an absolute ton of levels to choose from.
It even comes with an end VR level creator and editor if you’re a puzzle fan then I highly recommend it. It’s an awesome free VR game for the oculus quest.
15. Project Terminus
Project Terminus is more of an alpha sample experience than a full-on game. But if you enjoy horror survival games, then project terminus is a tremendous short experience to sideload on your oculus quest.
Set in Paris during an invasion from an unknown source, and your goal is to survive.
It isn’t about to jump scares but more about the creepy atmosphere and the helplessness of being chased by an ominous and unknown entity.
Even though this is an alpha gameplay sequence, it shows a massive amount of polish and potential for the future of terminus as they continue to work on the game. Project terminus is absolutely free on sidequest

14. Ninja Legends VR
Ninja legends is one of my favorite oculus quest games, and there’s a free demo you can download and try for yourself. In this demo, you have to survive as long as you can in a single level of 360 surroundings.
The ninja combat is superb casual arcade action, and I find it so much fun to deflect the ninja stars and slice through these ninjas like butter.
It’s a little strange that this demo is only available on the sidequest store when the full ninja Legends game is available on the official quest store, but for some reason, that’s the way it is.
If you haven’t played ninja legends before then, I highly recommend you download and try the demo; it’s super fun.
13. Sweeper VR
Sweeper VR is a 3d version of minesweeper. So this is yet another VR port of a classic game, but this one I enjoyed a little more,
Because even though it’s in 3d the graphics are identical to what they were in the original, but the design has a nice retro gaming feel.
The minefield is fully customizable. You can choose the size of the playfield and how many mines there should be.
The difficulty buttons above the sliders are simply preset for the two sliders themselves. I recommend every quest owner try this at least once it’s pretty cool.
12. Pavlov VR (Pavlov Shack)
Pavlov VR is a virtual reality Counter-strike (type) shooter game which highlights many game modes, brilliant gunplay, and holding ongoing interaction that you can’t quit playing once you start.
Pavlov Shack is the quest version of the game, which was initially called Pavlov Lite. But it was initially supposed to release in December but got pushed back to an indefinite date of early 2020.
The newest version of Pavlov VR for oculus quest which is known as Pavlov Shack is now available directly through sidequest so you’ll be able to download the game onto your headset without any Errors, Viruses and it’s Absolutely FREE!
Now it’s been made significantly more comfortable to snag the game being available directly through sidequest. As you’re probably already aware, Pavlov VR is a realistic first-person multiplayer shooter coming for free to the oculus quest, and it’s unlike anything we currently have to play on the quest store.
You can read the complete guide on how to install Pavlov VR (Pavlov shack) on the oculus quest

Pickup league hockey is a full-featured multiplayer hockey game using realistic physics and motion controls to create an immersive game that puts you right in the rink with up to five other friends.

10. Tea for God VR
Tea For God is a rougelite shooter sticks to an apparently forgotten period of VR where designers attempted to benefit as much as possible from room-scale tracking.
Tea For God is a great deal like Unseen Diplomacy; you trek through little passageways and square rooms. At the point when you pivot corners and into new spaces the world will change.
It’s similar to being driven through an unending labyrinth that revamps itself at each bend.
It doesn’t make a difference how much space do you have, the game will attempt to benefit as much as possible from it and will fit the procedurally produced universes in the space you have.
All things considered, you wind your way around your play space, physically strolling the whole course while never feeling like you’re backtracking your walks. It’s very wonderful to see it in real life.
I enjoyed a bizarre feeling of pride for not contacting the sides when, as a general rule, there weren’t any sides to contact.
9. DOOM Z QUEST
For the first time ever, you ARE The Doom Slayer and one of the Best FPS games comes to life with the Quest like never before.
You blast your way through the original Doom, Doom 2, TNT, Plutonia, Heritic, Hexen, Chex Quest 1 + 2, and more! Smooth framerates and amazingly smooth controls, this is the way Doom was meant to be played.
This is one of the best experiences for the fps you will have on the Quest, Thanks to DR. Beef, Baggy G and Sidequest.
Meanwhile, you can continue to test out other mods added from the Mod community to test compatibility. I think combining Classic games with VR takes the experience to a whole NEW level
And I hope they’ll keep bringing our classic FPS games to VR and they’ll definitely climb our list of Best Sidequest games.

8. The Contractors
The contractor is an Action, Shooter VR game by Caveman Studios.
The most important things that make Contractors apart is the polish of this game.
It’s been only in Early Access for less than a month and it already rivals and beats many other VR shooters games that have been released in the past years.
Visually, the graphics are stunning. The amount of details this game has is incredible, especially inside the headset…From reflections to shadows to high-quality textures.
Mechanically it feels very satisfying to just fire the guns and the variety of loadout options is really satisfying.
On a pure gameplay level, it’s so much faster than the other well-known VR shooters out there.

7. Hardlight Blade
Hardlight Blade is a fun game, but it’s not a fully-fledged game; rather, it’s an enjoyable experience where you can try and get high scores and compete against friends.
The game starts by choosing dual wield weapons: A tough choice between a lightsaber or an axe with the ability to customize any color you’d like.
Once chosen the game begins, and you have to survive as long as possible if you’ve selected the lightsaber you be able to slice off body parts
And if you’ve chosen the axe you can slice them up too, but you also have the ability to throw it and call it back like Kratos.
The favorite part about this game for me is the music. The soundtracks are fantastic, and it just made me want to play over and over again. The difficulty increases as time goes.
This game perfectly uses the wireless freedom of the oculus quest because you’re always spinning around – watch your back for new enemies.
Hardlight blade has a very arcadey feel to it, which I love because it’s all about just having fun.
You’ll have a ton of fun playing this for hours, and if you’re bored, this is also a great option. Hardlight Blade is a title that when sideloaded runs really well and it’s free.
6. Half life VR / Lambda 1
If you are a PC gamer or have been, for any length of time, then you’ll all know how amazing the original half-life game was. Well, now, with the help of sidequest, you can play half-life on the quest in VR, which is a total dream come true.
The installation is a little more involved, and it does require you to own half-life on PC as this is just a mod of the original game to work on the quest. But I have to say it’s totally worth it. You can find the tutorial here
Being transported into the world of half-life is insane. You really feel the scale of everything, and it’s even creepier in VR. Headcrabs jumping at you becomes a new type of terror.
Trust me, if you enjoyed half-life in 2D or if you’ve never got around to trying it, then give this a shot, it’s incredible.
5. Physics Playground
Physics Playground is a game made in Unity that is entirely driven by Rigidbody Physics. The gameplay is similar to Boneworks VR, i.e., the whole gameplay/game is based on physics concepts only.
Objects have a simulated feeling of weight and maintain collision with other objects even when grabbed.
You have two guns and a bat to use on dummy models/ enemies. Just by pressing the “spawn enemy” button, you enter the arena, and an enemy will come after you.
Kill the enemies, and they will drop loot, and then another one spawns. Means, Spawn> Kill > Loot > Repeat.
Also There’s a limited amount of ammo for your guns, and you can only get shot twice before you die. Everyone can play this game, whether you have/are a kid or you just you want to have fun.
It’s an endless game, and you will feel entertained even after 2-3 hours of gameplay and you will have a blast playing the game. Best part? It’s free!
4. HyperDash VR
Hyper is a fast-paced, multiplayer arena combat game. For an early alpha game, it’s already incredibly polished with excellent audio, crisp visuals, and a surprisingly active player base as well you’ll find a variety of weapons.
There are different types of locomotion like movement, sliding, dashing, and also fun sliding on rail tracks.
To get this install tihs game just go to sidequest > Download the APK file and drop it in Sidequest and It’s absolutely worth it. Hyper Dash is my Must-Play game among Best Sidequest games.
3. Climbey VR
Climbey is a VR-just climbing game in which the objective is to move to the endpoint as quickly as possible, maintaining a strategic distance from barriers and making an effort not to fall en route.
Climbey VR feels like a much-needed refresher in the VR library. It is an easygoing and fun experience that is similarly as enjoyable to play alone or as playing with friends and family.
And also, this game is suitable for those who have never been inside a VR headset since It’s a straightforward, most polished, fun, replayable, challenging, and remunerating game, which makes this game addictive.
The controls are utterly physics-based, means climbing, and hopping is easy to understand, however difficult to ace.
Climbey highlights 15 basic intro levels and Hundreds of levels to explore, and you can even make your very own levels with the level editor with full workshop support so you can create and share levels to the VR community.
You can enjoy an Online multiplayer with up to 10 individuals, and this makes the enjoyment at an entire another level. It’s a phenomenal VR game, and I think you’ll welcome it.
That’s why Climbey VR is our #3 pick among Best Sidequest games.
2. Quake VR
Do you remember a little game called quake, and I thought you might because the quake was one of the original true PC defining game.
Just like I mentioned before, with half-life, playing quake in VR is a totally different experience. The best part is that on the oculus quest, you have full six degrees of motion, and in my opinion, it’s crazy.
Enemies will tower over you, and you can aim your gun with the touch controllers, and there is even a cross-play multiplayer if you’re a fan of the classic FPS PC games.
That’s why Quake VR is our #2 pick among Best Sidequest games and Quake in VR is a must-try .
It’s still a ton of fun, and we are just amping it up even more. Quake quest is free to sideload on oculus quest.
1. Crisis VRigade
If you are looking for a duck and cover shooting game in VR like time crisis (the excellent arcade game) well, fortunately now, we do with crisis VRigade.
In Crisis VRigade, hardhearted burglars are causing an uproar, and it’s dependent upon you to slaughter them. The game mechanics are fantastic, natural, and basic. The grip catches reload your guns, and the trigger buttons shoot bullets.
This game is all about choosing when to duck and when to rise so you can take out the villains.
Each once in for a short time, you’ll have the option to take shots at a powerup and get a better gun with limited ammunition. This game is very challenging. The ongoing interaction is direct and easygoing.
However, you will be slaughtered a ton, and I believe that adds to the enjoyment of the game since you can in a split second retry.
The challenges are the thing that takes me back to play over and over, and in case you’re feeling truly insane, you can also try playing with hard difficulty.
That’s why Crisis VRigade is our #1 pick among Best Sidequest games.
So that’s was my list for the Best SideQuest Games to Sideload on Oculus Quest (2021)
Depending on your preferences, several games will be more qualified for you. We suggest Half Life / Lambda 1and Pavlov Shack as a simple method to play an arrangement of experiences all in one place.
