Future of Learning: What is Merge Cube? & How Does It Work?

Merge Cube is, in my opinion, the ultimate gift you can give to your kids or anyone who loves learning.

We have covered VR education quite a few times on VR Marvelites and you, the VR Army, absolutely loved it. And today I present to you what I believe can and is the future of education. Merge Cube.

Merge Cube turns education into an interactive adventure; exploring the solar system, dissecting the human body, or even learning about dinosaurs becomes not just educational but genuinely fun. And the affordability factor makes it a win-win.

It’s not just a gift; it’s a gateway to an interactive learning world. But what is Merge cube? How does it work? What it can do? Here’s everything you need to know.

Holding the Merge cube

The Merge Cube, made by Merge Virtual Reality, is this cool little digital wizard in the shape of a cube. It’s like a high-tech Rubik’s Cube, but instead of just twisting and turning, it transforms into a digital wonderland through apps.

It can be used for:

  1. Hand on learning
  2. Creation
  3. Previewing 2D creations before 3D printing.
  4. And you can also use Merge Cube with a VR Headset

Wondering how it pulls off this magic trick? Well, the cube has inlaid designs that interact with special apps. Those apps then use your phone’s camera to decode its funky patterns.

Merge Cube allows students to hold digital 3D objects or holograms and learn science and STEM in a whole new way.

For example, you can:

  • Explore a galaxy
  • Hold fossils and ancient artefacts
  • Explore a DNA molecule
  • Investigate the Earth’s core
  • Dissect a virtual frog
  • Dig into dinosaurs and much more
